About the Artists & Writers
Félicia Atkinson is a French artist and musician who graduated with honors from Les Beaux-arts de Paris. She splits her time between France and Belgium. She works primarily in site specific installments, paintings, drawings, texts, sculptures, music, and performances through the prism of improvisation and instant composition. These permanent loops and impermanent objects are driven by the concepts of delay, reverberation, noise, ready mades, musique and sculpture concrete, experimentation, imagination, as so many possible “dérives” into the material frames that stand for the gallery, the book, or the record.
M Kitchell is an artist and publisher living in the Bay Area. He runs Solar▲Luxuriance & is the author of Slow Slidings (Blue Square Press 2012), Apart From (Solar Luxuriance, 2014), and the forthcoming Spiritual Instrument (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2015).
Jarett Kobek is an essayist and novelist living in California. His books include ATTA (Semiotext(e)), a psychedelic biography of the lead 9/11 hijacker, and If You Won’t Read, Then Why Should I Write? (Penny-Ante Editions). His occasional forays into punditry have been published by White Cube, the Hammer Museum and Frieze. His love affair with America is over.
Suzanna Zak is a Russian-born, suburban raised, Los Angeles based artist and writer. A frequent traveler, her work depicts the malleability of place and space by using a mixture of photography and sculpture. Recent projects include Freedom Isa Bonfire, an installation at Good Press Gallery in Glasgow, Scotland and a bonfire at Dockweiler Beach. She also runs the press Rock Bottom.
